A mashup that plays a Miles Davis improvisation video alongside an LCD Soundsystem clip with no editing, so the two seem to perform together. It also became known for an affectionate mouse cursor moving along.
Why Hacker News points people here: Commenters repeatedly call it a favorite and a mind-blowing introduction to jazz.

“which served as one of my most memorable early introductions to jazz”
Miles Davis improvising over LCD Soundsystem as a jazz introduction.
This reminded me of this 10 year old YouTube video that creates a "duet" between that soundtrack and LCD Soundsystem's New York I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down, which served as one of my most memorable early introductions to jazz: this video
“Blew my mind back than as it still does today”
Miles Davis and LCD Soundsystem mashup duet.
Can't help but remember LCD Soundsystem + Miles Davis duet from 2011: this video Blew my mind back than as it still does today
“One of those rare exceptions, where overlaying another song improves the original”
Mashup that improves on the original song.
How did you manage to share the song without also sharing that amazing mashup? One of those rare exceptions, where overlaying another song improves the original: this video
“one my favorite videos”
Miles Davis and LCD Soundsystem duet with an affectionate mouse cursor.
This reminds me, somewhat tangentially, of one my favorite videos, the Miles Davis / LCDS YT Duet w/ the oddly affectionate mouse cursor this video
