A short German satirical clip from Jung & Naiv at 32C3 mocking the German government's overuse of the word 'cyber'. It mixes press conference footage with jokes.
Why Hacker News points people here: Used as a joke or reference whenever politicians' 'cyber' buzzword comes up.

Yes, that was the time when politicians and managers for some reason suddenly decided to exhume that 90ies buzzword (32C3 press conference montage from around that time: this video ).

May I interest you in some cyber? this video (better if you understand German) I think we are in the process of re-appropriating the word actually. One of my best purchases this year was a roll of yellow tape with 'cyber' printed in black. It presumably provides great cyber defense if one covers a computer with it. And I think that is fantastic social commentary on the word.

I think the CYBER thing is a joke from the German part of the internet. Our government (and companies alike), liked to cyber-everything. Cyber as a word alone or prefix became a joke and that might be the origin. Have a look at this cybervideo for example: this video
